this video was very quick and simple while in depth with how illustrator runs. it shows the basic tools and how to create shapes. the speaker speaks clearly for the listener. the video shows how to use multiple art boards and pages at once. he shows how shapes use colors and strokes and the different forms of strokes.

this video is from the same channel as the first and is the first of a 19 episode series. this video is an intro to the application its self and is a 15 minute video about the interface of the application. how to change your tool bar, what each tool is.

this video shows all the same things as the first two videos but is more focused on the shapes. the tutorial shows you how to make all different shapes and create shapes with the pen tool. he shows how to use shapes together and make patterns out of multiple shapes.

Buisiness cards

This is my submission for the business card project. I made sure to involve my logo as much as possible with out creating an overwhelming feeling. I stuck with my personal style of minimalism. This is my reoccurring theme for all and most projects so i chose not to branch out and stay with what is comfortable.  I believe that less says more and that minimalism is a perfect and professional style for a business card. easy to read and straight to the point while being very sleek and simple. I felt that it was necessary to connect the logo into my name in the front of my cards. I felt it gave a better understanding to the logo.
